Describes one retained Stream message returned by Stream Client reads.

      Returns the decoded application message.
      Returns:
      the message value

    • getResumeToken

      public String getResumeToken()
      Returns the token for the next read.
      Returns:
      the opaque resume token

    • getCreatedTime

      public Instant getCreatedTime()
      Returns the server-assigned creation time.
      Returns:
      the UTC creation time

    • getSource

      public String getSource()
      Returns the producer metadata supplied when the message was appended.

      Step writes use #<stepExecutionID>. Client writes use the source supplied to Client.writeStream(String, Stream, String, T). Sources are not unique and carry no deduplication semantics.

      Returns:
      the message source
